Roxanne Wetmore

Torrington- Roxanne Wetmore, 55, passed away Saturday, December 12, 2020 at the Hospital of Central Connecticut, New Britain.

        Roxanne was born in Torrington on February 25, 1965, daughter of the late Charles and Elizabeth (Lawrence) Wetmore, and had been a Torrington resident most of her life. She had been employed at K-Tech International and had previously been employed with the Litchfield Bancorp. Roxanne was a member of New Hope Baptist Church, Torrington, enjoyed crafting, reading, music, and traveling, especially to Tennessee, Virginia, and Pennsylvania.

        Survivors include a brother, Charles Wetmore and his wife, Nancy, of Torrington; and three sisters, Debbie Haviland and her husband, Joe, of Hinsdale, NY, Bonnie Wetmore of Torrington, and Lori Brown and her husband, David, of Torrington. Roxanne was predeceased by a sister, Theresa Niver.

        Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, a memorial service will be announced on a future date. Gleeson-Ryan Funeral Home, Torrington, is in care of arrangements.

        At the request of the family, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to New Hope Baptist Church, 371 Pinewoods Rd., Torrington, CT 06790, to help support the renovation of a room for the children.
