Torrington- Paul T. Ledda, 32, passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2020 in a tragic accident while doing what he loved most. He was a devoted father and hero to his son Paul Jeffery Ledda. Also, the beloved husband and middle school sweetheart of Christine M. (Membrino) Ledda.
Paul was born in Torrington on May 10, 1988, son of Judith L. Marino of Torrington and the late Paul F. Ledda. Paul was the light of his mother Judy’s life. He was a mechanic with JRC Trucking in Thomaston, where he had been employed for the past 5 years. When he wasn’t working you could find Paul spending time with his son, in the garage working on motors, in the woods fishing, or on the trails with the guys. Not only was he a devoted father but also a very involved uncle and mentor to his nephews Joey and Caleb Ledda. Paul lived his life fast and to the fullest always, with no regrets.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, mother, son and nephews, include a brother, Joseph A. Ledda; his maternal grandparents, Thomas and Janet (Horner) Marino and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. In addition to his father, Paul was predeceased by a brother, Gage R. Trivaudey and paternal grandparents Joseph Ledda and Phyllis Lestage.
Graveside services will be held Friday, July 10, 2020 at 12:00p.m. at New St. Francis Cemetery, 863 S. Main St., Torrington. Gleeson-Ryan Funeral Home, 258 Prospect St., Torrington, is in care of arrangements.
