Michael A. Moore

Winsted- Michael A. Moore, 40, passed away June 1, 2026.

Michael was born in Torrington on July 9, 1985, son of Steven Santoro and Mary Ann Janelle, and had been a lifelong area resident. He loved to play guitar, poker, and most of all, spending family time with his son. 

Survivors, in addition to his parents, include a son, Lucian Moore; a brother, Steven Moore; a sister, Olivia Santoro; step-father, Bruce Janelle; step-siblings, Phil Scott, Rich Scott, Mark Scott, Paul Scott, Brandon Janelle, and Nicole (Janelle) Liutermoza; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Michael was predeceased by his brother, Nicholas.

Services will be held Friday, June 19, 2026, at 8:00p.m. at Gleeson-Ryan Funeral Home, 258 Prospect St., Torrington. Friends may call Friday, June 19, from 6:00 to 8:00p.m. at the funeral home.
