Mary Lou Vienot

Torrington- Mary Lou (Padula) Vienot, 80, passed away Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at Middlesex Hospital, Middletown. She was the beloved wife of the late Wallace Vienot.

        Mrs. Vienot was born in Torrington on November 22, 1941, daughter of the late Louis and Mary (Pollack) Padula, and had been a lifelong area resident. She was a graduate of St. Francis School and Torrington High School. Mrs. Vienot was a retired Personnel Director with Sears Roebuck at their Torrington and Waterbury locations. She was a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Church and enjoyed reading, crocheting, and loved country music.

        Survivors include special family members Deborah Dunay and Irene Matava, both of Torrington; and several cousins.

        Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 16, 2022, at 10:30a.m. from Gleeson-Ryan Funeral Home, 258 Prospect St., Torrington, to St. Francis of Assisi Church, 160 Main St., Torrington, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00a.m. Entombment will follow in New St. Francis Cemetery Mausoleum, Torrington. Friends may call Tuesday morning from 9:30 to 10:30a.m. at the funeral home.
