Margaret M. (Andros) DeMeis

Torrington- Margaret (Andros) DeMeis, 98, formerly of Waterbury, passed away Thursday, November 5, 2020, at Valerie Manor, Torrington. She was the beloved wife of the late Vincent DeMeis.

        Mrs. DeMeis was born in Naugatuck on June 9, 1922, daughter of the late Philip and Anna (Bellus) Andros.

        Margaret is survived by her daughter, Barbara Gleason and her husband James, of Torrington; her son, Joseph DeMeis and his wife Donna, of Watertown; six grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. Margaret was predeceased by a grandson.

        Graveside services will be held privately in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Watertown. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on a future date and time to be announced. Gleeson-Ryan Funeral Home, Torrington, is in care of arrangements.
