James Steiner Obituary

Torrington- James Patrick Steiner, 77, passed away Monday, July 4, 2022, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital, Torrington. He was the beloved husband of the late Marie Steiner.

Mr. Steiner was born in Seneca Falls, NY, on December 24, 1944, son of the late Raymond and Dorothy (Ward) Steiner, and had been a NY resident most of his life before moving to Torrington in 1990. He enjoyed hunting, camping, and all things outdoors

Survivors include a son, James P. Steiner, Jr., and his wife, Janean, of Seneca Falls, NY; and four daughters, Brenda Jones and her husband, Gary Sech, of Parish, NY, Mary Levandusky and her husband, Glen, of Attica, NY, Jennifer Garcia of Gulfport, MS, and Lucinda Lapp and her husband, Jeremy, of Geneva, NY; 20 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Steiner was predeceased by two brothers, Andrew and Charles, and a son-in-law, Aristeo Garcia, Sr.

Services will be private. Gleeson-Ryan Funeral Home, Torrington, is in care of arrangements.
