Danh N. Le

Torrington- Danh N. Le, 72, passed away Thursday, October 14, 2021, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital, Torrington. He was the beloved husband of Phuong P. (Pham) Le.

        Danh was born in Mỹ Tho, Vietnam, on July 29, 1949, son of the late Xuan V. and Nhieu T. (Duong) Le, and had served as a Lieutenant Commander in the Republic of Vietnam Navy. Danh has been a Torrington resident for over 40 years. He was a communicant of St. John Paul the Great Parish, Torrington. Mr. Le was a member of the Vietnamese Naval Officers’ Group.

        Survivors, in addition to his wife, Phuong, include a son, Nam H. Le of Torrington; three grandchildren, James Le, Luke Le, and Ella Le; a sister, Thach Le of Vietnam, and many nieces and nephews.

        Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 23, 2021 at 9:00a.m. from Gleeson-Ryan Funeral Home, 258 Prospect St., Torrington, to St. Francis of Assisi Church, 160 Main St., Torrington, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00a.m. Burial will follow in St. Peter’s Cemetery, Torrington. Friends may call Friday, October 22, 2021, from 5:00 to 8:00p.m. at Gleeson-Ryan Funeral Home.
