Brenda Curtis Obituary

Torrington- Brenda J. Curtis, 83, passed away Sunday, March 8, 2020 at Wolcott Hall, Torrington. She was the beloved wife of the late Clarence Curtis.

Mrs. Curtis was born in Manchester, NH, on December 6, 1936, daughter of the late Silas and Stella (Smith) Hartwell, and had been a Hartford resident most of her life before moving to Torrington 3 years ago. She had attended Calvary Temple in Hartford and will be remembered for her deep faith in God.

Survivors include a sister, Ramona Hartwell of Torrington, and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Curtis was predeceased by two brothers, Charles Hartwell and John Hartwell, and a sister, Marjorie Balise.

A memorial service was held at Bakerville United Methodist Church, New Hartford. Burial in Hillside Cemetery, Torrington, was private.
