Mary Trobel

Torrington- Mary Trobel, 88, passed away Thursday, March 15, 2018 at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital, Torrington.

        Mary was born in Waterbury on January 8, 1930, daughter of the late Charles and Mildred (Jeffts) Trobel, and had been a Torrington resident for over 25 years. She enjoyed arts, crafts, baking, and puzzles. She loved shopping, and her favorite color was red.

        Survivors include a sister-in-law, Carmen Trobel of Torrington, and nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Mary was predeceased by two brothers, Vincent and Charles Trobel, and a sister, Margaret Machuga.

        Funeral services will be held Monday, March 19, 2018 at 11:00a.m. at Gleeson-Ryan Funeral Home, 258 Prospect St., Torrington. Burial will follow in New St. Francis Cemetery, Torrington. Friends may call Monday morning from 10:00a.m. to 11:00a.m. at Gleeson-Ryan Funeral Home.
