John R. Rosenbeck

John R Rosenbeck, 87, passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital with his son John and daughter Donna at his side. He was the beloved husband of Elda C. (Maniccia) Rosenbeck.

            Mr. Rosenbeck was born in Torrington on January 4, 1933, son of the late John H. Rosenbeck and Rose Hilman Keywan. He was a lifelong resident of Harwinton CT. He was a retired Tool and Die maker with the Torrington Company for many years of service. He served in the Army during the Korean War. He loved his family, and loved gardening and tinkering on many projects around the house and also helping others. Mr. Rosenbeck dedicated his life to God after becoming a baptized Jehovah’s Witness.

            Survivors, in addition to his beloved wife Elda include a son John W. Rosenbeck his partner Susan Weik of Torrington; a daughter Donna Rogala and her husband Allen of Torrington and two grandchildren David Lamanna and Seth Lamanna.

            A Memorial Talk will be held Saturday Feb 1, 2020 at 3 pm at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses 121 Dibble St Torrington CT . Family and friends are asked to share in celebrating his life. Burial was held in Hillside Cemetery, Torrington CT
