Goodbye Jimmy. We always called you that. "Jimmy and Mrs. Rebman". Ev felt like she was your mother! But that's because we could relate to you on so many levels. I think of you sitting on the porch with my parents, smoking and drinking beer out of those tall Pilsner glasses. Ah, those fabulous 1950's. How fortuitous that you passed right before Thanksgiving. We spent so many holidays with the Rebmans. Thank you for connecting us with the people whom we got our beloved dog GiGi from. Thank you for driving us to the "Lab pool" on countless Friday nights. Thanks for always racing down to my parents house with your toolbox to help out my "tool-challenged" father. Thank you for calling me when I first relocated to L.A. You were here in Escondido visiting relatives at the time. It meant so much to me. You were and are like family to me. My heart is heavy today Jimmy. Rest in peace and fly with the angels. Say hi to "Mrs. Rebman" and Mom and Dad for me. And also to Buff, GiGi and Sam. Love you and miss you.
