James Mario Lovato

Torrington- James M. Lovato, 66, passed away Sunday, August 11, 2019 at his home.

          James was born in Torrington on January 14, 1953, son of the late Mario P. and Priscilla A. (Norton) Lovato, and had been a lifelong city resident. He enjoyed playing softball on local Torrington teams and played darts at the Southside Bar & Grill. James was an avid sports fan and his favorite teams were the New York Yankees and GIANTS.

          Survivors include a daughter, Jessika M. Lovato of Torrington; two brothers, Mark S. Lovato of Torrington and Fred J. Lovato and his wife Cheri of Torrington; three sisters, Carla Lovato of Louisiana, Paula Lovato of Torrington, and Tina Lovato of Torrington. James was predeceased by a sister, Kim Lovato.

          Friends may call Monday, August 19, 2019 from 5:00 to 7:00p.m. at Gleeson-Ryan Funeral Home, 258 Prospect St., Torrington.
