Dorothy W. (Fields) Ivain

Torrington- Dorothy W. Ivain, 90, passed away Sunday, October 22, 2017 at Wolcott Hall, Torrington. She was the beloved wife of the late John S. Ivain.

        Mrs. Ivain was born in Torrington on November 3, 1926, daughter of the late Harry and Helen (Benedict) Fields, and had been a lifelong city resident. She was a retired employee of the PT Aerospace Company, and later the Seitz Corporation. She was a member of the Beacon Grange, and enjoyed playing bingo.

        Survivors include two sons, John J. Ivain of Torrington, and Steven J. Ivain of Otis, MA; a daughter, Marcia E. Kimberley of New Hartford; five grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

        Burial in Hillside Cemetery, Torrington, will be held privately.
