David H. Fenn

Torrington- David H. Fenn, 71, passed away Friday, August 24, 2018 at Yale New Haven Hospital.

          David was born in Torrington on November 22, 1946, son of the late Errol A. Fenn, Sr., and Bertha F. (Leichner) Fenn. He spent his early years in Norfolk and had been a Torrington resident most of his life. David was a proud veteran who had served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam Era. He was employed at MacDonald Auto Parts in Torrington and was a retired employee of both the Torrington Water Company and the Torrington Board of Education. In his spare time, he had a lifelong enjoyment of raising and racing pigeons and participated in many pigeon competitions. He enjoyed vintage cars, especially Corvettes, and spending time with his family.

          Survivors include three sons, Jamie A. Fenn and his wife Leslie of Torrington, Timothy D. Fenn and his wife Ayesha of Greenwich, and Robbie W. Fenn and his partner Hallie Braddock of Litchfield; a brother, Errol A. Fenn, Jr., and his wife Joyce of Torrington; a grandson, Danyal J. Fenn; and a niece, Cheryl Martinotti and her husband Charlie of Torrington.

          Friends may call Monday, August 27, 2018 from 5:00 to 7:00p.m. at Gleeson-Ryan Funeral Home, 258 Prospect St., Torrington. Burial with full Military Honors in South Norfolk Cemetery, Norfolk, will be private.
