Torrington- William W. Bowman, Jr., 63, died Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at Hartford Hospital.
William was born in Sharon on January 6, 1952, son of the late William W. Bowman, Sr., and Thelma (Jennings) Bowman, and spent his earlier years in Goshen before moving to Torrington. He was a retired DOT Employee with the State of Connecticut, retiring with over 20 years of service, enjoyed tinkering with electronics and mechanical things, NASCAR, and visiting and talking with friends. He will be fondly remembered for his wonderful personality and heart of gold.
Survivors include four siblings, Phyllis M. Bowman, Darrell M. Bowman and his wife Lynn LaRocco, all of Torrington, Teresa Hawkins and Mona Bowman, both of New York State, and long time friend, Gail Neal.
