Barkhamsted- Thomas C. Kulinski, Jr., 75, died Saturday, October 15, 2016 at Hartford Hospital.

        Mr. Kulinski was born in North Canaan on October 21, 1940, son of the late Thomas C. Kulinski, Sr., and Angelina (Menti) Kulinski and had been a Torrington and New Hartford area resident most of his life before moving to Barkhamsted. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran and a retired letter carrier with the United States Postal Service, retiring with over 30 years of service. Mr. Kulinski was a member of the Polish National Alliance, Torrington Lodge of Elks, an avid Boston Red Sox and UConn Huskies fan, and enjoyed bowling and golfing.

        Survivors include a daughter, Nancy A. McCauley of Avon, two sons, James T. Kulinski and his wife Linda of Barkhamsted and Richard J. Kulinski and his wife Rebecca of Monmouth, ME, two brothers, Charles T. Kulinski and his wife Carolyn, Peter J. Kulinski and his wife Jeannette, all of Torrington, three sisters, Jo-Ann M. Graziani and her husband Roland, Angela E. Medico and her husband Kevin, and Kathleen A. Newkirk and her husband James, Sr., all of Torrington, nine grandchildren, Courtney McCauley, John McCauley, Shannon McCauley, Caitlin Colley and her husband Simon, Kevin Kulinski, Kyle Kulinski, Connor Kulinski, Anna Kulinski, and Jason Kulinski, a great grandson Owen Colley, two uncles, one aunt, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

        Funeral services will be held Friday, October 21, 2016 at 11:00A.M. at Gleeson-Ryan Funeral Home, 258 Prospect St., Torrington. Burial with full military honors in St. Peter Cemetery, Torrington will be at the convenience of the family. Friends may call Thursday, October 20, 2016 from 6-8 P.M. at Gleeson-Ryan Funeral Home.
