Sang V. Nguyen

Torrington- Sang V. Nguyen, 48, died Monday, July 10, 2017 at Yale New Haven Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Trang Le.

        Mr. Nguyen was born in Vietnam on November 11, 1968, son of the late Tu Nguyen and Hinh Le, and had been an area resident for over 20 years. He was employed as a machine operator at Gregor Technologies in Torrington. Sang enjoyed fishing, soccer, and grilling.

        Survivors, in addition to his wife Trang, include a son; Henry T. Nguyen; a daughter, Lan T. Le, both of Torrington; three brothers, Nguyen Nguyen of Canada, Giau Nguyen and Phu Nguyen, both of Portland, ME; three sisters, Mai Nguyen, and Hue Nguyen, both of Vietnam, and Thoa Nguyen of Portland, ME; and several nieces and nephews.

        Funeral services will be held FRIDAY, July 14, 2017 at 8:00a.m. at Gleeson-Ryan Funeral Home, 258 Prospect St., Torrington. Cremation will follow in Pine Grove Crematory, Waterbury. Friends may call WEDNESDAY, July 12, 2017 from 5:00 to 8:00p.m. at Gleeson-Ryan Funeral Home.
