Priscilla J. (Marconi) Milo

Torrington- Priscilla J. Milo, 83, died Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital after a brief illness, with her loving daughters by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Alphonse F. “Al” Milo.

        Mrs. Milo was born in Torrington on February 20, 1932, daughter of the late Dominic and Elaine (Sequin) Marconi, and had been a lifelong Torrington resident. She was a retired employee of the Torrington Board of Education, working in the cafeteria, at Forbes School. Priscilla enjoyed playing bingo and taking her trips to the casino.

        Survivors include a son, Alphonse “Buddy” Milo and his wife Gloria of Torrington, four daughters, Elaine Milo, Janine Levesque and her husband Robert, all of Torrington, Denise Bosco and her husband Michael of Harwinton, and Donna Sykes and her husband Christopher of Torrington, one brother, Frank Marconi and his wife Pat of Torrington, one sister, Louise Janssen and her husband Steve of Florida, nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a baby son, Carl Milo, and a brother, Nick Marconi.

        Funeral services will be held Friday, July 31, 2015 at 11:30a.m. from Gleeson-Ryan Funeral Home, 258 Prospect St., Torrington, to St. Peter Church, 107 E. Main St., Torrington for a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:30p.m. Entombment will follow in St. Peter Mausoleum, Torrington. Friends may call Friday morning from 9:30a.m. to 11:30a.m. at the funeral home.
