Torrington- Pauline M. Karpinski, 92, passed away Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital, Torrington. She was the beloved wife of the late Michael J. Karpinski.
Mrs. Karpinski was born in Winsted on June 4, 1925, daughter of the late Anthony and Blanche (Krucesky) Olzanski, and had been a lifelong area resident. She was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church, Torrington, enjoyed playing cards, bingo, sewing, and family get togethers.
Survivors include a son, Raymond M. Karpinski and his wife Diane of Middletown; a daughter, Shirley A. Karpinski of Winsted; a sister, Caroline Franz of Winsted; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Karpinski was predeceased by three brothers; Theodore, John, and Albert Olzanski; and a sister, Agnes Sterpka.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 28, 2017 at 10:00a.m. at Gleeson-Ryan Funeral Home, 258 Prospect St., Torrington. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Torrington.
