Torrington- Michael J. Steina, 69, died Sunday, September 10, 2017 at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital, Torrington.
Mr. Steina was born in Worcester, MA on August 14, 1948, son of the late William and Albertine Steina, and had been a Torrington resident for 45 years. He was a retired metallurgist engineer with the Torrington Company and the Aerospace industry in Bantam. Michael enjoyed fishing, woodworking, and was an avid hat collector.
Survivors include his wife, Debra (Farrar) Steina; a son, Seth Steina and his wife Melanie of Arlington, TX; two daughters, Sara Steina and Emily Steina, both of Torrington; a brother, Mark Steina and his wife Carole of Oxford, MA; and two grandchildren, Clara Kijonka and Farrah McIntyre.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
