Eric P. Ross

Torrington- Eric P. Ross, 30, died Sunday, February 26, 2017 in Norwich.

        Eric was born in Sharon on October 6, 1986, son of Richard P. Ross of Southbury and Dorrie L. Sloan of Prescott, AZ, and had been a lifelong area resident. He was a graduate of Oliver Wolcott Technical High School, graduating in 2005. After graduating, Eric worked as an electrician. He enjoyed rollerblading, ultimate Frisbee, soccer, video games, hiking, and the outdoors.

        Survivors, in addition to his parents, include two brothers; Robert Hancock and his wife Lauren of Media, PA, and Michael Rosenquist and his wife Stacy of Torrington; and a sister, Brandy Guilman and her husband Glen of Satellite Beach, FL. Eric was predeceased by his step-mother, Karren L. Ross.

        Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 12:00p.m. at Gleeson-Ryan Funeral Home, 258 Prospect St., Torrington. Burial will follow in Trinity Episcopal Church Memorial Garden, Torrington. Friends may call Saturday morning from 11:00a.m. until the time of service.
