Burlington- Eleanor J. Grinvalsky, 77, died Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at Ingraham Manor, Bristol. She was the beloved wife of the late James J. Grinvalsky.
Mrs. Grinvalsky was born in Torrington on August 16, 1939, daughter of the late William and Mildred (VanDyke) Wilson, and had been a Winsted resident many years before moving to Burlington. She enjoyed reading, shopping, and her dog and cats.
Survivors include a son, John N. Lackman and his wife Elaine of Terryville; a daughter, Brenda L. VanDeusen and her husband Barry, Sr., of Canaan; three grandchildren, Danielle VanDeusen and Barry VanDeusen, Jr., and Richard Cochrane; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be private.
