Donald A. Gray, Jr.

New Haven-Attorney Donald A. Gray, Jr., 84, died Saturday, July 9, 2016 at the Connecticut Hospice, Branford. He was the beloved husband of Maria (Iannuzzi) Gray.

        Mr. Gray was born in Bronxville, NY, on November 16, 1931, son of the late Donald A. Gray, Sr., and Dorthea K. (Howard) Gray. Attorney Gray graduated from The Hotchkiss School, Class of 1950, and Yale University, Class of 1954. He was a U.S. Navy Korean Conflict Veteran and a retired President and General Counsel for The Western Connecticut Industrial Council Inc., an exclusive association of manufacturers, retiring with over 30 years of service.

        Survivors, in addition to his wife Maria, include a sister, Joan V. (Gray) Daley of Cleveland, OH, three nephews, William G. Daley, Robert A. Daley and Bruce H. Daley, a niece, Bridgett A. Frary and several grand nieces and nephews.

Burial will be private. Gleeson-Ryan Funeral Home, 258 Prospect St., Torrington is in care of arrangements.
