Torrington- Arline H “Babci” Sesko, 90, died Sunday, June 4, 2017 at Valerie Manor, Torrington, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Mitchell J. Sesko.

        Mrs. Sesko was born in Torrington on May 3, 1927, daughter of the late Alexander and Frances (Wychroska) Wilczenski, and had been a lifelong area resident. She was a retired inspector with the Torrington Company, retiring in 1993 with 20 years of service. Mrs. Sesko was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church, a member of the Torrington Lodge of Elks, and the Polish National Alliance. She enjoyed Polka music, collecting tea pots, and taking photos.  Babci will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother to her family. She always brought a smile to everyone she met.

        Survivors include, five daughters, Susan Kovall and her husband John “Moose” of Charlestown, RI, Sandra Deak and her husband Stephen of Millbury, MA, Shelly McCoy and her husband Mike of New Hartford, Sharon Consolini and her husband Robert of Torrington, and Alexandria Propfe and her husband Kevin of Winchester Center, a daughter-in-law, Donna Sesko of Conshohocken, PA, a brother, Adam Wilson of Scottsdale, AZ,  twelve grandchildren:  Jon Mitchell Kovall his wife Maghan, Suzanne Kovall, Jessica Quinty and her husband Donald, Justine Sesko, Arline Rice and her husband Michael, Thomas Sesko jr, Sabrina McCallum and her husband Mikey,  Lauren McCoy and her fiance Ed Zbinski, Ryan McCoy and his wife Liz, Meghan Hayes and her husband James, Madeline Propfe and Catherine Propfe, six great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Sesko was predeceased by a son, Thomas Sesko, a granddaughter, Elizabeth Deak, a great-grandson, Adam Quinty, and a sister, Ethel Romaniello.

        Arline’s family would like to thank the staff at Valerie Manor for the wonderful care shown to Arline during her stay.

        Funeral services will be held Friday, June 9, 2017 at 9:00a.m., from Gleeson-Ryan Funeral Home, 258 Prospect St., Torrington, to St. Mary’s Church, 85 Pulaski St., Torrington, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00a.m. Burial will follow in St. Peter’s Cemetery, Torrington. Friends may call Thursday, June 8, from 5:30 to 8:00p.m. at Gleeson-Ryan Funeral Home.

        Memorial contributions may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 26 Broadway, 14th floor, New York, NY 10004, or the American Cancer Society, 825 Brook St., Rocky Hill, CT 06067.
