Anna M. (Wilson) Kozlak

Torrington- Anna M. Kozlak, 83, died Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at Valerie Manor, Torrington. She was the beloved wife of Edward J. Kozlak, Sr.

        Mrs. Kozlak was born in Cohoes, NY, on September 21, 1933, daughter of the late Erskin and Anna (Schlosky) Wilson, and had been a Torrington resident most of her life. She was a communicant of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Harwinton and a former communicant of Sacred Heart Church in Torrington. Anna enjoyed traveling, baking, and caring for her home.

        Survivors, in addition to her husband Edward, include three sons, Edward J. Kozlak, Jr., and his wife Lorie, Brian A. Kozlak, and Dean R. Kozlak and Angelina Alverez, all of Cocoa, FL; a granddaughter, Maryanna Kozlak; and a step-brother, William Schlosky of Sharon. Mrs. Kozlak was predeceased by two brothers, Henry Wilson and Andrew Wilson.

        Funeral services will be held Friday, May 5, 2017 at 9:45am from Gleeson-Ryan Funeral Home, 258 Prospect St., Torrington, to Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 78 Litchfield Rd., Harwinton, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30am. Burial will follow in New St. Francis Cemetery, Torrington. Friends may call Friday morning from 8:45 to 9:45am at Gleeson-Ryan Funeral Home.
